Landing Pod
Creation date: November 17, 2005
Comment: Matchmoving assignment in a 3d graphics course. The video footage was shot with a DV-camera and then matchmoved using RealViz MatchMover. The pod was modeled and animated in Maya and rendered in mental ray. The lighting and the reflections all come from a HDRI sphere. It was created by photographing a shiny metal ball at the same location. The ball reflects almost 360 degrees of the surrounding world. Compositing done in After Effects. |
